Creating a Listing

Step-by-step: post a firearm or accessory for sale, from basic info through final submission.

Posting a listing takes about five minutes. Have your photos and any serial numbers handy before you start.

Quick steps

  1. Click New Post from your dashboard or My Posts
  2. Fill in Basic Info, Details, then Photos
  3. Review and submit
  4. Wait for moderation approval (usually a few hours)

What you'll need

  • 3-10 photos of the firearm or item
  • Category (e.g. handgun, rifle, ammo, accessory)
  • Caliber and manufacturer (for firearms)
  • Condition and asking price
  • An honest description, including any flaws

Step 1: Basic Info

Pick a category and condition, then write a title and set a price. The title is what buyers see first — include the make, model, and caliber. Example: Glock 19 Gen 5 9mm — like new, 200 rounds.

The new-post wizard with Step 1 listing fields ringed to show category, condition, title, and price
Step 1: pick a category and condition, then enter a title and price.

Step 2: Details

Add caliber, manufacturer, and a clear description. Mention anything a buyer should know: round count, modifications, included accessories, original box and paperwork.

Weight is optional and only used for shipping — enter it in whichever unit is easier, pounds or ounces, using the dropdown next to the field.

Be honest about flaws. A scuffed slide is fine — surprising a buyer after the sale is not.

Step 3: Photos

Upload up to 10 photos. The first is the cover image — pick your best one. Show every angle, the serial-number area, the bore (for long guns), and any cosmetic flaws.

Good lighting matters. Natural daylight on a neutral background beats any indoor lamp.

Step 4: Submit

Review everything on the final screen, then submit. Most listings clear moderation review within a few hours during business hours.

After you submit

You can edit, boost, or mark sold from My Posts any time.

Common questions

How long does my listing stay up?
Active listings stay up until you mark them sold, delete them, or they reach the platform's inactivity limit.
Can I list ammo and accessories, not just firearms?
Yes. You can list firearms, ammunition (where legal), magazines, optics, holsters, parts, and most accessories.
