Your WooCommerce catalog is your AGT inventory.

AGT Sync publishes your firearms to American Gun Trader and keeps them in step with your store — listings go up, sold guns come down, and stock stays honest. Built for FFL dealers who already run a WooCommerce storefront and have no interest in typing every gun twice.

What it does

One-click connect

The plugin registers itself and sends you to an AGT consent screen. No API keys to copy, nothing secret pasted into WordPress, and you can revoke the connection from your account at any time.

Category mapping

Map your WooCommerce categories to AGT categories once. Child categories inherit their parent mapping, so a deep catalog does not mean a long mapping table.

Automatic publishing

Simple products publish with title, description, price, condition, weight, manufacturer, caliber, and up to 10 photos — the same fields you would type into the AGT listing form.

Sold writeback, both directions

A firearm sold on AGT flips the WooCommerce product to out of stock. A product marked out of stock in WooCommerce withdraws the AGT listing. You cannot sell the same gun twice.

Trash and restore sync

Trashing a product removes its AGT listing; restoring it brings the listing back. A per-product toggle keeps anything you do not want listed out of the sync.

Status where you already work

A product metabox shows the live AGT listing status, view count, bids, and a direct link — so you do not have to log into AGT to see how a listing is doing.

Runs in the background

Sync runs through Action Scheduler, so publishing a large catalog does not block the admin screen or time out a page load.

Your customer data stays yours

Product data only. No customer records, no orders, no payment information ever leaves your store.

Before you install

  • An approved FFL on your American Gun Trader account.
  • An active dealer subscription — the plugin is included, not an extra purchase.
  • A complete account address, with your city picked from the dropdown so listings map to a real location.
  • WooCommerce, with the firearms you want listed as simple products.

Manage the connection any time under Settings → AI Assistant. Our privacy policy and terms of service cover what we do with listing data.

How it compares to spreadsheet upload

Spreadsheet bulk upload (official Excel workbook, or CSV) is still there and still the right tool for a one-time import or a catalog that does not live in WooCommerce. The difference is upkeep: a spreadsheet is a snapshot you re-upload, while the plugin keeps publishing and un-publishing on its own as your stock moves.

Questions

What does the plugin send to American Gun Trader?

Product data only: title, description, price, condition, weight, manufacturer, caliber, and up to 10 photos. No customer, order, or payment data ever leaves your store.

Does it support variable products?

Not yet. AGT Sync publishes simple products. A variable product with multiple variations is skipped rather than published as a single ambiguous listing.

What happens when a gun sells on AGT?

The listing is marked sold and the plugin writes the matching WooCommerce product back to out of stock, so you cannot sell the same firearm twice. It works the other way too: marking a product out of stock in WooCommerce withdraws the AGT listing.

Do I have to connect with an API key?

No. The plugin registers itself and sends you to a consent screen, so you never paste a secret into it. You can revoke the connection from your AGT account at any time.

What do I need before installing?

An approved FFL on your AGT account, an active dealer subscription, and a complete account address (choose your city from the dropdown so listings map to a real location).

Is the plugin on WordPress.org?

Not yet — it is currently distributed from GitHub. The WordPress.org listing is in progress; install from the GitHub release in the meantime.
