Quick steps

  1. Open a conversation
  2. Tap the paperclip icon
  3. Pick one or more photos
  4. Send

Supported file types

  • Images: JPG, PNG, WebP, and iPhone HEIC photos
  • Max size: 5 MB per file
  • You can attach multiple images in one message

Not supported (yet)

PDFs, videos, and other document types are not supported in messages. For documents like a copy of an FFL, share them through email outside the chat.

How to attach

Tap the paperclip icon next to the message box, pick the photo from your device, then send. On mobile you can also use the camera button to take a photo right then.

Privacy

Attachments are private to the conversation. They are not indexed publicly, but treat anything you send as if a stranger might see it โ€” that is the default rule for any online platform.

Common questions

What file types can I attach?
Images (JPG, PNG, WebP) up to 10 MB each. PDFs and other documents are not currently supported in messages.
