Email verification

When you sign up, we email you a confirmation link. Click it to verify. The link expires after 24 hours — if it expires, request a new one from the verification screen.

Email not arriving?

  • Check your spam or junk folder.
  • Add no-reply@americanguntrader.com to your contacts.
  • If you use Gmail, drag one of our emails out of Spam into your Inbox to allowlist us.
  • Still nothing? See email delivery problems.

Why we require verification

Unverified accounts are the source of most scam attempts. Requiring email verification keeps the marketplace clean for everyone.

A US mobile number is not required to use the platform. Add one in Settings → Basic if you want to share your phone safely in one-on-one messages after it is verified.

See Sharing My Contact Details for how contact sharing works and why typing phone numbers in chat is blocked.
