Marking a Listing Sold

Close out a listing once the firearm changes hands — and what happens to bids and messages.

Mark your listing sold as soon as the firearm changes hands. It keeps the marketplace clean and stops new inquiries.

Quick steps

  1. Open My Posts
  2. Find the listing
  3. Click Mark Sold
  4. Confirm

How to mark a listing sold

Open My Posts, find the listing, and click Mark Sold. Confirm in the dialog and you are done.

Each listing card on My Posts has a Mark Sold action in its menu.

What happens after

  • The listing moves to your Sold tab and disappears from public search.
  • Any active bids are closed. Bidders are notified the auction ended.
  • Existing conversations remain open so you can finish coordinating shipping or pickup.

Undoing a mark-sold

If you marked sold by mistake, contact support within a day and we can usually relist it for you with all its history intact.
