Quick steps

  1. Open Settings → Notifications
  2. Find the section you want to tune (Messages, Bids, Groups, Account, Marketing)
  3. Toggle each row's Email and Push
  4. Save

The sections

  • Messages: new chats, replies, group mentions.
  • Bids and Offers: outbid, won, lost, new offer on your listing.
  • Listings: your listing approved, expiring, sold.
  • Groups: activity in groups you joined.
  • Account: security alerts, password changes, billing receipts.
  • Marketing: newsletter, promotions, feature announcements.

Always-on alerts

Three things are always sent and cannot be muted:

  • Password resets
  • Security alerts (new device sign-in, suspicious activity)
  • Bid wins (so you know you owe money for the firearm)

For most members:

  • Messages → Push on, Email off
  • Bids → Push on, Email on
  • Listings → Email on, Push off
  • Groups → Mentions only (set per group)
  • Account → both on
  • Marketing → off (turn on if you like our newsletter)

Common questions

I muted everything. Will I still get bid-win alerts?
Yes — bid wins, password resets, and security alerts are always sent.
