Most of American Gun Trader is free. Paid tiers add vendor tools, higher limits, and analytics for sellers who do real volume.

  1. Free: post, message, bid, join groups
  2. Vendor: bulk uploads, higher limits, analytics, vendor badge
  3. Enterprise: custom pricing for large FFL operations

Free

Browse, post listings, send messages, place bids, and join groups. There are reasonable limits on active listings and messages per day, but most members never hit them.

Vendor

For licensed dealers (FFL holders) who post regularly. Includes:

  • Recommended first for interstate transfers — when local buyers and sellers choose a receiving FFL in messages, verified dealers are listed above the rest of the ATF directory, even above closer shops. See Choosing an FFL.
  • Higher active-listing limit
  • Bulk CSV upload
  • Per-listing analytics (views, click sources)
  • Vendor badge on profile and listings
  • Priority moderation queue

Enterprise

For large multi-location dealers and inventory feeds. Contact us for a quote.

Upgrade or stop

Manage your subscription from Settings → Billing and Settings → FFL. Vendor plans do not auto-charge — pay again at secure checkout before the paid-through date (we send T-7 / T-3 / T-1 reminders). Access continues until the current period ends, then you drop to the free tier.

Common questions

Do I need a subscription to sell?
No. The free tier supports listings, bids, and messaging. Subscriptions unlock vendor tools and higher listing limits.
