Platform credits work like store credit. You earn them through referrals or promotions and spend them on boosts, features, or subscription fees.

How to earn credits

  • Referrals: invite friends who sign up and post their first listing. See Referrals.
  • Affiliate program: earn an ongoing share of paying users you refer. See Affiliate Program.
  • Platform promotions: occasional grants for active members and contest winners.
  • Compensation: if support resolves an issue with credit instead of a refund.

What you can spend credits on

  • Boosts and newsletter features
  • Subscription fees (vendor, enterprise)
  • Any other paid product on the platform

Credits apply automatically at checkout — you do not need to enter a code.

Do credits expire?

Credits from referrals and the affiliate program do not expire. Credits granted through promotions may have an expiration shown when they are issued. Compensation credits include their own terms.

Can I cash out credits?

No — credits are non-refundable platform credit, not currency. They only spend on American Gun Trader.
