Posting in a Group

Share a listing or start a discussion inside a group you belong to.

Inside a group you can post a listing for members only, or start a discussion that does not need to be public.

Quick steps

  1. Open the group
  2. Click New Post inside it
  3. Pick "Group Listing" or "Discussion"
  4. Submit

Group listings

A group listing only shows to members of that group, not in public search. They are great for local-pickup-only items or sensitive items you would rather not list publicly.

Discussions

Discussions are simple posts — a question, a build log, a range report. Members can reply in the thread.

Tap Open on any group from the Community page, then post a listing or start a discussion inside it.

Cross-posting

You can cross-post a listing into multiple groups, but use this sparingly. Moderators can remove duplicates that feel spammy.

Sharing a single listing to multiple groups at once is capped at 10 groups per share (50 for verified FFL dealers).

Follow group rules

Every group has its own rules in the sidebar — read them before your first post. Off-topic content and spam get removed quickly.

Common questions

Can I cross-post the same listing to multiple groups?
Yes, but use this sparingly — group moderators can remove duplicate or off-topic posts.
