Seller's Description

Selling an IBM M1 Carbine parts kit. This is mostly original IBM parts, good condition overall. It's a collection of parts to build a carbine, not a complete firearm. The barrel is marked .30-30 Win, which is unusual but that's how I got it. Seems like a fun project for someone with the right skills and tools. I haven't personally assembled it or fired anything, so assume it needs to be checked by a gunsmith before any attempt to build. The condition of individual parts varies, some show more wear than others. I'm including everything you see in the pictures. Selling because I don't have the time or expertise to complete this project. Looking for a straightforward sale. Buyer must be legally allowed to own parts and should be aware of local laws regarding builds. I expect a standard transfer process through a licensed FFL dealer, even though this is just a parts kit. Buyer pays shipping if needed, but local pickup is preferred. Let me know if you have questions.

Buyer FAQ

Is this listing legitimate?

Listings on American Gun Trader are posted by individual sellers and are required to comply with federal, state, and local firearm laws. This listing was submitted by @rangeops; review their profile rating and active listing history before transacting.

How do I buy this firearm legally?

Interstate firearm transfers must go through a Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer who runs the background check on the buyer. In-state transfers follow local law. Use the message button on this listing to coordinate the FFL and payment with the seller.

Does the seller ship this listing?

Shipping is not specified for this listing. Check the seller’s description for shipping terms or message the seller to confirm — many sellers ship to your receiving FFL dealer. Otherwise plan to meet in person at an agreed transfer location.

What about returns?

No return policy is specified for this listing. Treat it as a final sale — inspect the firearm and confirm condition and serial number with the seller before paying.

How do I pay the seller?

Same state? Meet in person and pay cash at the meetup. Different states: when the FFL has the gun, tap Pay. You pay the seller. The FFL charges a transfer fee.

Does a "Boosted" or "Premium" tag mean the seller is verified?

No. Boost and premium placement are paid advertising upgrades that push a listing higher in search results and the newsletter — they do not verify the seller's identity, legitimacy, or the item's legality. Only the green "Verified FFL" badge reflects an approved federal firearms license, and even that does not vet the individual transaction. Always verify who you are dealing with independently.
